      Obituary1:
      1907 Apr 7 - Mrs. Mary Meikleham died suddenly last evening at the home of a friend, 422 E Broadway, of heart disease, after having taken a walk with her daughter, Miss Bell. Dr. Haviland was summoned, but before he arrives Mrs. Meikleham had expired. Coroner Stevens was notified & after an investigation diced that an inquest was unnecessary. The body was then removed to the home, 480 E Broadway & prepared fr burial. Mrs. Meikleham was 44 years old & the wife of Walter Meikleham, a blacksmith at the Mountain View mine. She has been ailing for along time, but felt better yesterday & in the company with her daughter , Miss, took a long walk. On their way home she was seized with a fainting spell & taken into the nearest house, where Miss Bell, a trained nurse applied the usual restoratives, but failed to revive her. Mrs. Meikleham had lived in this city for several years & had been subject to heart disease since coming to Butte. The funeral arrangements will not be completed until a daughter Miss Nellie, who resides at Burke, Idaho, is heard from. Pub. 1907.4.8.
      Mrs. Meikleham had been a resident of Butte for several years. Tor the greater part of her residence here she had been subject to attacks of heart trouble & dread disease which finally sapped away her vitality & her live was diagnosed as neuralgia of the heart by physicians. She ha been frequently subject to similar attacks & her life was despaired of on a number of prior occasions.

      . 1907 Apr 8 - Mrs. Mary Meiklheam Victim of Heart Disease Last Night, After Long Illness. She was overcome by an attack of heart trouble on E Broadway last nigh & fell to the sidewalk before she could reach home, 480 E Broadway. She was taken into the home of Mrs J Dalton, & there died.
      The body was removed to the Meikleham residence. There will be no funeral arrangements made until sometime today. Corner Steves was notified of the sudden death of the women b7 as she had been known fo some time to suffer from heart disease & complained of trouble in the heart just before her death, he decided that there was no cause for an inquest.
      As soon as she was taken into the home of Mrs. Dalton, Dr. Haviland was summoned, but when he arrived it was too late to save her life. The body was then removed by an undertake to the family residence.
      Mrs. Meikleham is the wife of Walter M Meikleham, who has been working as a blacksmith's helper at the Mountain View mine. Mrs. Meikleham leaves 3 children, one of them a daughter being Mrs. Rudd, of Burke Idaho.

      . 1907 Apr 9 - The funeral of Mrs. Walter Meikleham will take place tomorrow Wed. afternoon at 2 o'clock fro the family residence, 480 E Broadway. Services will be held at the Presbyterian church by Rev J Grosenveld.

      . 1907 Apr 11 - The funeral of Mrs Walter Meikleham, who died suddenly Sunday night, was held yesterday afternoon. The attendance was large. The floral tributes ere many & especially beautiful.
