  • Notes 
    • David was a farmer. He enlisted on May 3, 1861 at the age of 17. He was mustered in as a Private and was promoted to Corporal between May and October 1862. He was reduced in rank between May and August 1863. He was present or accounted for until his capture at Petersburg, VA on April 3, 1865. David was confined Hart's Island New York Harbor until his release on or about June 19, 1865, after taking the Oath of Allegiance.
