Born March 27th 1808. Died March 25, 1887Aged 79 years, less 2 days.
* 1900 Jan. Fourth Generation, Parent:
Asa Willson, Jr. my father was born on the farm now in my possession, March 27th 1808, where he always lived; & died on the 25th day of March 1887.
aged 79 years less 2 days. He was married August 28th 1828 to Elizabeth Adams.
. WILL, Asa Wilson, Wantage Twp., Sussex Co., NJ, being sound of mind, memory & understanding (for which blessing I thank God: publish my last WILL:
1st Pay debts & funeral expenses.
2nd. to beloved daughter Berthena L Cromwell, wife of John W Cromwell, the farm known as Abraham Eumaia ? farm, situated, Wantage & Lafayette Twps., containing 1 frame premises purchased by me of the Executors of Abra. Eusria? a little over 1 year go, then to if any of her natural children; or then to son Evi A Willson or his children.
3rd. To beloved daughter Berthena L Cromwell & her heirs $1500 to be paid by said son Evi A Willson. in 1 year $750 from my decease & remaining legacy $750 in 2 years.
4th. to granddaughter Sarah Elizabeth Harden, wife of Joseph A harden & daughter of deceased dau. Temperance J), the same of $2500 to be paid by Evi Willson within 4 years.
5th. My sister Hannah Beardslee, who now lives with me, shall be provided with a comfortable home, clothing, food & care & attention by son Evi A Wilson & a proper burial by him. He must pay her reasonable expenses & medicine.
6th. To son Evi A Wilson, all property known as the William W Cox store house property, situated in village of Deckerton, NJ, conveyed to him 2 years ago.
7th. To son Evi A Wilson & heirs personal property of every kind.
8th. to son Evi A Willson al the rest & residual of my lands & real estate not herein before devised.
9th. & last. Sole executor son Evi A Wilson.

. 1884 Jan 18 - Codicil to WILL, Asa Willson, Wantage Twp., Sussex, NJ, Having made my Will I now feel I should make a larger provision for granddaughter Sarah Elisabeth Harden, therefore I ratify that if daughter Berthena L Cromwell should die without issue of her body, then the farm of Abraham Ecumia?, debased should to go Sarah Elizabeth Harden & heirs & in default only then shall Merrit J Willson & Sarah E Harden & heirs become entitled to said property.
