    • Notes for Richard Singletary:
      Richard died at his residence in Bladen Co., He was in the 77th year of age. His death was awfully sudden, having fallen down in the yard, and died before his family could get him into the house. He was a soldieer in the Revolutionary War and fought at the battle of Stono. For the last 25 years, he has been an orderly member of the Baptist Church. He was an affectionarte husband and parent. ( from a newspater obit).
