    1. [S1537] Full Context of South Carolina Baptist Deaths and Marriages, 1866-87.
      Died, in Charleston County, S. C., November 24, 1872, of congestion of the liver, Mr. J. J. Singletary, in the forty-eighth year of his age. Brother Singletary was converted when quite young, and was for thirty tow years an unflinching, pious and useful Baptist. He was for twenty years clerk in the Baptist Church, which position he held until his death. In the death of Brother Singletary, Briner Baptist Church sustains a heavy loss. He leaves a wife and five children. Holly Hill, S. C., January 11, 1873.
