BIOGRAPHY: William Setterington SETTERINGTON, William J. (P.Eng) 72 years, passed away at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor on Monday December 4, 2006 surrounded by his devoted family. Beloved husband of Marie Angela. Dear father of Sharon Setterington and husband Larry Wannan, Lee-Anne Setterington and husband Michael Shapiro, Mary-Ann Setterington and husband Kevin Lafferty, Mario and Vanessa Sabga-Aboud, Norman and Natalie Sabga-Aboud, Jacqui and Elias Galy, Lorraine and Fredrick Sabga. Loving grandfather of Cecilia, Jack, Max, Ben, Grace, Jo-Marie, Jeanne, Anthony, Anna-Marie, Michelle, William, Claudine, Alfred, Steven and Laurence. Brother of Beth Eaton and husband Dave. Brother-in-law of Iona Setterington. Predeceased by his parents William and Flossie Setterington, brother Coultis and sister Maxine. Bill owned & operated William J. Setterington Land Surveyors. Bill's first position after graduating in Engineering from Queens University in 1956 was as the engineer with the Town of Leamington. He was a past president of the Sun Parlour Curling Club, member of Leamington Masonic Lodge, Leamington Kinsmen Club, Kingsville Golf & Country Club, life member of Erie Shores Golf & Country Club. Born and raised in Leamington, Bill was enormously proud of this community and his families long history in Leamington. A devoted baseball fan, an athlete in his youth and a pleasure golfer in his twilight years. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington (519-326-2631) on Wednesday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to celebrate Bill's life, from St. Michael's Church, Elliott Street Leamington (everyone please meet at church) on Thursday December 7, 2006 at 2 p.m. Entombment Erie Memorial Gardens, Leamington. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Renal Dialysis Unit, Leamington District Memorial Hospital.
