  John is the daughter of David Black & Margaret Spiers. Nancy Spiers became a seamstress at Elora. she married David Armstrong of Mimosa in 1907, & lived on the farm later owned by Ewart Rown & Don Rowan. in 1911 Nancy died at the birth on her second child (both still-born). She is buried in Rea's Cemetery at Mimosa. - - -
