  • Notes 
    • He was born in Mississippi in 1857 or 1858 and died there in Sept. of 1907. He married (1st) Ellen Singletary, daughter of Ephriam Singletary and Liza Ann Davis in Star, Mississippi. The old Singletary home was bought by the Holidays who adopted Ola after Ellen died and it became known as the Holiday place. Other children of the Singletary's were: Mary Ann who married LEWIS, Margaret who married PHILLIPS, Rosanna married MCCALL, John Everett and two other sisters (prob. Nancy and Hanna). Ephriam Singletary married 2nd to Mellie (or Nellie) T.
