. NOTICE is hereby given, that the undersigned will apply to Parliament at its next Session, for an Act to incorporate a Company, with authority to construct a Railway from London to Amherstburg, or to such other point on the Detroit River as may be deemed most advantageous. E. F. WHITTEMORE, H. HOLTON. Ref: 10 December 1853.

. 1915 OCT 29 - REV. C. McQuesten from his mother. - Yesterday we had a call from Holton Whittemore & his friend Jan Norman, who had come up to interview Gen. Logie. So they stayed for dinner & after phoning Mrs. Logie got the General at the club & he received them at head-quarters. They came back much impressed with his soldierly bearing, very stern at first, because he thought they were trying to get ahead of their superior officer in Toronto, but when they explained he was very nice. Holton said Reggie & his bride took tea with them the night before, so I sent off their present. I had got a very pretty plate with an open work silver border & a crown Derby Centre, very pretty we thought.

. 1928 Jul 10 - Rev. Calvin McQuesten at Carleton, Quebec from his mother. We have been suffering great heat & glad you are away. Mary is now taking her turn learning to drive. On Sat. Tom drove us all to Grimsby to see Mrs. Whittemore, it was fearfully hot, could not have stood it in a Ford car. Holton was there, quite a stout fellow now. - - - [1]
