      Richmond County, To all to whom these presents shall come or may concern Peter Rezeau of the County of Richmond Esqr., Sends Greeting Know ye that I the Said Peter Rezeau for divers good & reasonable Causes me thereunto moving have published the following Declaration.
      That is to say that after the publication hereof I will not pay or cause to be paid to any person or persons whomsoever any Sum or Sums of money for any goods Sold to or any moneys Lent to my wife Dorcas Rezeau or which at any time hereafter shall be by them Sold or Lent to the Said Dorcas [i.e. his wife] in my Name or upon my Ace* & also if any person or persons shall hereafter buy or take into their or any of their Custody any of the goods or Chattels belonging unto me, that as Soon as Notice is had thereof, I will prosecute every Such person or persons being of the same convicted to the utmost of my power until They shall make Restitution thereof witness my hand this Second day of July Anno Dom 1718.
