  • Notes
    • 1913 Jan 2, Lynn, Wm Teetzel who purchased the old downhill building, is building a new house on his 40 acres farm on Sec. 9.

      . 1921 Feb 10 - FARM HOME BURNS.
Fire at 6 o'clock Monday morning destroyed the farm home of Wm. Teazel located 6.5 miles north of Capac. The fire had gotten such a start that when Mr. Teetzel awoke he had barely time to rescue his 4 children, most of them in scanty attire. The mother had gone away the evening before to take care of a married daughter, who was ill. Immediately the near farm neighbors got busy & fed & clothed the family. Thomas Ridley & Henry Quillman circulated a paper in Capac & in the locality of the fire & raised about $200 to help the family repair their losses. This would certainly be a fine chance for the local Red Cross to administer relief in the way of clothing or other necessary supplies. Any family in the community would be right up against it if their home should burn with all the clothing, bedding, furniture & supplies.

. 1921 Feb 17, Lynn & West Brockway - Harold Teetzeel many friends will be pleased to learn that he is recovering from pneumonia. An oyster dinner was given at the home of Mark Ostrander last Thursday evening. "The ladies tied a comforter for Will Teetzel, who burned out recently. A good time was enjoyed by all."
