  Henry was married to Lydia Manning, daughter of Richard Manning & Lydia Vaughn. Ithaca Daily Democrat June 26, 1884 Mr. Henry Ervey died this morning at the age of 84 years. Mr. Ervey was well known among the farmers of this vicinity. He was born & has lived all his life on the farm where he died, moving but once during that time, from an old house into a new one. He was always regarded as a kind & good neighbor. He was eminently a man of peace, never having been engaged in a law suit. He leaves a widow & 3 children, Mrs. William Barnes, of South Cayuga street, being the only daughter. The funeral will be held at his late residence tomorrow at 2 p. m. Ref: Find A Grave. Wife Catherine Erwine Wildrick, Three children are: Johannes Philip Erway, 1781-1862, Abraham Erwine, 1782=1860 & Elizabeth Erway Cooper, 186-1824. - - -
