      Peacefully, surrounded by her children, at the William Osler Health Centre on Friday, May 31, 2002, in her 82nd year.
      Beloved wife of the late Dr. James B.J. McKendry, Loving mother of Bill & Lorna, Peggie & John Gillies, Cathy McKendry & Ted & Debbie. Adored by her grandchildren Andrew, Lindsay, Cameron & Stewart McKendry, Laura, Elisabeth & Amanda Reynolds, Tyler & Lauren Gillies, & Rhys & Bryn McKendry.
      Survived by her brother Edward Snider of Kingston.
      Pat was born in Vancouver, 1921 & was raised & educated in Hamilton, Ontario & then graduated in 1944 as a Registered Nurse from the Hospital for Sick Children & remained active on the Women's H.S.C. Auxiliary for many years.
      Pat was a delight & an inspiration to the many people that knew her. She was an active member of the choir & congregation of Kingsway Baptist Church.
      Friends may call at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. West, Etobicoke, between Islington & Kipling Aves., from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Sunday. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 3 at 2 p.m. from Kingsway Baptist Church, 41 Birchview Blvd., Etobicoke. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Kingsway Baptist Church."
