  OBIT Omar Westell,resident of Kincardine for 51 years,was laid to rest in Kincardine cemetery on Thursday afternoon after service at the Linklater funeral home,conducted by the Rev. J L Ball of the Church of the Messiah,assisted by the Rev. L W Owen of St. John’s Church,Bervie . Pallbearer’s were friends and associates, W F Kearns,Charles Yaeger,Jack McGinnes,Graham Sproule,William Cobean and Jack Mitchell .Born in Clandeboye,Mr Westell came to Kincardine as the second to be foreman of the Grand Trunk Railway section out of Kincardine . He filled this post for 26 years retiring to serve as enginer at the salt company plant there . He later went to the Andrew Malcom Faurniture Company and was with it for 22 years retiring on the occasion of his eightieth birthday . Ill for 5 weeks he died on November 22 at the age of 84 . Surviving are 2 sons Earl of Detroit and Oran, of Kincardine and two daughters,Mrs. Frank Caesmore,Nelson B.C. and Mrs. William Tout,Kincardine. There are also 17 grand children and 14 great grand children .Relatives were Honorary pallbearers were Terry Tout,George Tout,Daryl Riggin,Wayne Schell,Junior Mctaggart,Bill Tout Jr. and Sean Tout.present from Port Hope,Peterborough,London,Stratford,Palmerston,Guelph and Toronto.
