      Obit: Abraham L. Neff died at his home on North Huntingdon Street, Friday February 4, .... at age 86 and 25 days. Born Franklin
      Co., VA Jan 9, 1830. Drove to Indiana with his father in 1852. When he left VA he was given money by a Mr. Galloway to assist
      a Negro colony at Niles, Michigan. The colony was composed of ex-slaves. 1854 married Lydia Whitehead. Family 4 sons and 1
      daughter. Members of the Brethren church in 1862.
      Elected to the ministry in 1871 and an elder in 1888. Moved to Goshen in 1886. Both moved to Syracuse in 1902 where they lived
      until death. Funeral Sunday morning at 10:30 preached by Rev. William Hess.
      Burial in Cyracuse Cem. Obit from Ancestory. Year not given.
