    • I have not known of a James to be a son of John and Lucinda. The only source to indicate that is the article on John Carey's suicide in The Port Huron Times Herald 23 Oct 1874. Could James have been a cousin of Nathan?

      Whether James Cary is the child of John and Lucinda Cary is unverified. In some ancestry trees the name is confused with Jane Cary who, with her brother, Samuel, was living with Julia Cary Dingman according to the
      1851 Census of Canada East, Canada West, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
