    • I base my assumption that this Nathan Carey is the brother of Maria Carey Palmateer and the son of John and Lucinda Carey on these ideas: the notes from Edna Colwell Beslock on the back of his portrait; this Nathan was born in Canada; he named his daughter Lucinda which was his mother's name.
