1889 Sep 19, Another Old Resident Called Home.
. On the 19th September Mr. William Kennedy of Lot 11, Con. 5, Erin, departed this life after spending the best part of it in the township. He was one of the first to settle in the wild woods of Erin over 60 years ago, & reached the ripe old age of 87 years. His hearth-stone had always a welcome for the pioneer preacher in the days long ago & he did his whole duty in assisting to secure for the neighborhood good schools & churches in the early days. His remains were interred at Conningsby.
