. 1905 Mar 9 - A Delightful Concert: Given by the Employees of the State Employment Institution for the Blind. Wednesday Evening impromptu program in the chapel. Vocal solo by Miss Elie Johnson followed by a clever recitation by Master Kenneth Hamilton. One of the most enjoyable numbers of the evening was the singing of "Dainty Dorothea" by Mrs. J P Hamilton.

Women Federation held its meetings at Mich. Employment Institute, Thursday afternoon as the guests of Mrs. J P Hamilton. Plans for the coming season were talked over in regard to the seed distribution to the public schools. Following the session the assembly which was a very large one, listened to an exceedingly fine program which had been arranged for the occasion by Mrs. Hamilton & the people of the Institute: The program was as follows: "Behind the Curtain" Miss Virsa Engle & Kenneth Hamilton.

. 1914 Oct 22, Thrus. Mrs. James P Hamilton has arrived from Georgia to join her husband, who is the president of the Hamilton-Green Piano Company. They are having a pretty residence built near Sulphur Springs, where they will make their home.

Death defying feats by the best of bird men, inc. walking, parachute drops, acrobatic, the feat of changing from plane to pane by Roger Williams, nonpareil of Canadian fliers. the first passenger to make a flight with Mr. Williams yesterday afternoon was Mrs. J P Hamilton of Hamilton Heath, who had the honor of being taken to a nighter altitude than that been reached by any Tampa passenger since flying began at the local fields. the altitude of something like 5,000 feet was attained directly above the Hamilton home on the Hillsboro river. The lady passenger had no objections water to the introduction of the loop-the-loop & nose spin entertain. Mrs. JPH said she was no afraid in the lease, that it was a red letter day experience.
. 1920 - the need of another school building the district 28 is so evident, said Mrs. JP Hamilton, president of the mothers club. It is enticed by all newcomers who visit the schools & is continually a source of announce among established residents. It is generally relied in both Seminolo Heights & Buffalo avenue communities that our child those of people who are coming to live among us should not be made to suffer for lack of adequate school room. We are already paying the maximum school tax each year & bonding the district now simply lets us build our schoolhouse & pay for it out of the yearly school tax accumulations. therefore, little if any opposition to the bonding movements been expressed & needless for me to say that our mothers club appreciate the attitude of a ll those who favor the board issue.
-1920 Sep 5, Sun. Soldiers delightfully entertained by Mrs. J P Hamilton & Hamilton Heath neighbors, Soldier recuperating at Colonial Hotel, Sulphur Springs, Friday evening had a program of music, dancing & delicious refreshments. The boys expressed their thanks by saying they had a "regular time."
