Notes:

Mrs. Leila Durant was living at 319 Main St. in Welington, Ontario for the past few years and passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 1990 in the Prince Edward County Hospital in her 86th year.

Her late husband, Ellis Durant, passed away many years ago.

The obituary stated that she was also survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lois Martin of Oshawa, and her nieces Olive (Simonds) McDonald, Jean (Moreland) Chase, Ruth (Moreland) Southhorn, Helen (Moreland) Hanthorn, and nephews, Allan and Jack Moreland.
She was buried in the Carrying Place Cemetery Annex on Friday, August 3rd, the officiating minister was the Rev. C. Dickson.

Mrs. Durant posessed several pictures of her family, and had a five generation picture going back to John and Susan.

Leila married Ellis Albert Willoughby DURANT on 29 Jun 1935 in Janetville, Durham County,Ontario, Canada. Ellis (son of Albert DURANT and Flora Kate BAKER) was born on 24 Dec 1897 in Bournemouth, Hampshire, England; died on 8 Sep 1961 in Carrying Place, Ameliasburgh Twp, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada.
