    . 1969 Jul 16 - Greenock WI were taken on a mystery trip to the village of Rockwood to visit the "enchanted house of dolls', 525 dolls for 45 countries, made by their proud owner, Mr H Shoemaker. In her charming soft-spoken manner she commented on her dolls. Mrs. Elwood Johnston thanked Mrs. Shoemaker for her interesting story of her hobby. Mrs Elwood Johnston & Miss E parents were conveners for "Historical Research". Mrs E Johnston had prepared a motto "All Wisdom is not new Wisdom. Wisdom is happiness. Happiness is personality & lifetime of thing, shoe told in part. Mrs. Elva Winters was courtesy convener.
