(nee Warden) - On Monday July 4, 2005 the angels rejo iced as another angel had entered their realm when Evelyn passed away p eacefully at Cavendish Manor Retirement Home in her 89th year. Evelyn h as gone to join her late husband Sidney G. Harris. Dear mother of Maril yn and her husband Edward Robertson, Nancy and her husband Peter Craig, E veline and her husband Harry Murfin and Irene and her husband Phillip O sborne. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Barrie (Ros e), Suellen (Deryl), Tom (Karen), Kevin, Joel, Sarah and Emily and grea t-grandchildren Derrick, Stephen and Justin. Beloved sister of Jack War den, the late Jean Diebel, Hazel Raynard, the late Gordon Warden, Kenne th Warden, Joyce Wilson and Betty Warden. She will also be sadly missed b y her several nieces and nephews and by her little dog “Laddie”.
    Evelyn will be remembered for her years of commitment as the caretaker a t the old John Marshall School and for her involvement with Grace Gospe l Church as a founding member, with the library and as the caretaker. E velyn had enjoyed living at Fairhaven Apartments for the last twelve ye ar
    Friends may call at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5 917 Main Street, on Wednesday from 2-4 and on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A s ervice to celebrate her life will take place on Fridayat the funeral ho me at 1:30.     WARDEN, Kenneth George - Passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2 009 at the age of 82. Beloved husband for 61 years to Violet (Hethering ton). Loving father of Larry (Rosemary), Diane Smith (Hugh) and Randy ( Nora). Proud grandfather of Aynsley, Brad (Kristy), Lesley (Mark), Lind say and Blaine (Tawnya). Special "Grandpa" to Ayrah. Ken was the son of t he late George and Edith Warden. Dear brother of the late Jack (Maude), E velyn (Sidney), Jean (Walt), Hazel (Lloyd), Gordon, Fred and Irene and s urvived by Joyce (Ray), Betty and sister-in-law Ditty. Lovingly missed b y numerous brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and their famil ies. Ken appreciated and loved Roger (Anne) and was considered "Bulldoz er Grandpa" to Aaron (Sara), Michael (Khiera), Heidi, Ava and Owen Bell . Ken was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, where he joined the Fal ls View Hose Brigade as a volunteer and was a devoted member of Grace G ospel Church. In April 1946 Ken purchased his first truck and establish ed a career and founded Ken Warden Construction Ltd., which for the las t 62 years has become well known around the Niagara Region for its flee t of clean, signature red, trucks and excavating equipment.
    The family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN F UNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, on Thursday, February 12, 2009 from 2-4 a nd 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Grace Gospel Church, 58 55 Valley Way, on Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment wil l follow at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Grac e Gospel Church Memorial Fund, the Canadian Diabetes Foundation or a ch arity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.

    Jean had a keen interest in the children of the church and community. T he joy of her life was serving her Lord in her church and her family. S he will be greatly missed by her family, her friends, herchurch and nei ghbours.
    Mrs. Diebel is at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5 917 Main Street, where family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 a nd 7-9 o’clock. Service to celebrate her life will be held at Grace Gos pel Church, Valley Way at Portage Road, on Monday morning at 11:00 o’cl ock. Interment to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
