    Proclamations & British news, but no local news. On the third column of the third page is the following death notice:
    "Departed this life on Monday morning last, after a few days' severe illness, Mrs. Jerusha Simons, wife of Mr. Titus Simons, of this town, & mother of the printer of this paper.

Titus (son of John SIMONS, .1 and Sarah GEER) was born on 7 Jun 1743 in Enfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut; died on 19 Aug 1829 in Flamborough East Twp., Wentworth Co., Ontario; was buried in Christ Church Flamborough Cemetery.
