The Sabbath School Association assembled on Thursday, 16th inst, at 10 a.m. at Willowdale.
Business & Finance Committees, W Cummer.
The Report was read. It was estimated that about 100 Sabbath Schools existed in the 2 riding, 10 had been in existence over 20y, one more than 40y, & 2 more than 50ys. …the 5 minute speech was discussed for the next 40 minutes. singing: A charge to keep I have, Jesus loves me! Shall we gather at the river? Evening Session reassembled at 7 o'clock in the Wesleyan Church, Newtonbrook.

1929 Aug 17 - Obituary
Harold Bayne Cummer. The death of HBC, aged 18 years, son of Mr & Mrs Harold H Cummer, occurred suddenly at this residence, 225 St. Clair Ave. on Thursday, from complications attendant upon a sunstroke. The young man was born & received his early education in Toronto on moving here. At the time of his death he hand completed the honor matriculation examination at Pickering college, Newmarket. He is survived by his parents U a younger sister, Rachel.
