    Notes:

    Dr. Allan Grant Boyes, died on Friday, September 3, 2004 at the age of 89. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters degree from the University of Western Ontario. He moved to the United States in 1938. Here he attended Rutgers University and received his Ph.D in Chemistry in 1955. He worked in the field of Chemistry his entire career until retiring to Ft. Myers, Florida in 1983. His wife Marcella preceded him in death in 1994.

    He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Dr. John and Kristin Boyes, of Seattle, Washington; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Peter Perkins of Sanibel, Florida; five grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

    A memorial service in his honor will be held at the Faith United Methodist Church on September 16, 2004 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, he family requests memorial donations in his memory be made to either United Cerebal palsy or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

    The memorial service for Allan Boyes, which was postponed due to Hurricane Ivan, has be rescheduled for Monday, October 4 at 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 15959 McGregor Blvd.
