    Marriage Notice:
    A quiet but pretty wedding took place on Wednesday, December 3 at the home of Mr. & Mrs. A. Monkman, 192 Cumberland Avenue, when their daughter, Gertrude Maude, was united in marriage to Mr. Joseph Laurence Curzon, son of Mr. Mrs. William Curzon, of Guelph, Ontario. 
    The ceremony was performed by Rev. R. J. Treleavan of Ryerson Methodist church, in the presence of a few relatives & friends of the young couple. The bride entered the room on the arm of her father & looked very pretty in a traveling suit of navy blue with a bouquet of pink roses. At the conclusion of the ceremony the party sat down to a dainty luncheon, after which the happy couple left on a honeymoon trip to Toronto & other points. The bride was in receipt of many beautiful presents & good wishes from a number of friends.
    Among those present from out of town were Mrs. Allis, of Stratford, sister of the bride; Mr Mrs. Curzon, of Guelph, the parents of the groom. After the honeymoon, Mr. & Mrs. Curzon will reside in Kitchener.

    The death occurred suddenly of Mrs. Joseph Laurence Curzon yesterday at her residence 222 Cumberland Ave. 
    Mrs. Curzon, the former Miss Gertrude Maude Monkman, was born in Hamilton, 48 years ago & had resided here all of her life.  
    Left to mourn her passing, besides her husband are one son, Ralph Douglas at home; her mother Mrs. Abram Monkman of Hamilton & 2 sisters, Mrs. E. O Corbett (Stella) of Calgary, & Mrs. Thomas Yapp (Lula), of Sarnia. The remains are resting at the funeral home of Dodsworth & Brown, where the services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in Woodland Cemetery. - - -
