. Death: On October 23rd, 1933 David fell from a tree & fractured his ribs. He was taken to the Guelph General Hospital, where he was treated for 3 days. However, he died of internal bleeding on the 26th October 1933.

That in death so soon would sleep, & leave us here to mourn.
We do not know the pain he bore, We did not see him die.
We only know he passed away, Without a last goodbye.
