SUTHERLAND- Suddenly with family at his side, at the Woodstock General Hospital on Tuesday October 4, 2006. Ken A. Sutherland of Cardinal Street Woodstock in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Shirley C. Sutherland (nee McDonald). Dear father of Brenda Verkuyl and her husband Anthony of Hickson. Loved grandfather of five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Dear brother of Marguerite Hutton, Sophie Bradley, Betty Plummer, Ronald Sutherland and Innes Sutherland. Special uncle to Gayle Gregory and her husband Richard as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Janet McMaster and Roberta Doering and brothers Douglas and Donald Sutherland. Ken served in the Canadian Armed Forces during the Korean War. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the R. D. Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock, (519-539-0004) Saturday at 1:30 pm with Pastor Janet Yonkheym and Pastor Bob Loerts officiating. Interment in Harrington Cemetery.
