  1. 1.  Faithful FORTESCUE, Sir was born about 1580; died in 1666 in Isle of Wight, England.

    Notes:

    In 1606 he was made Constable of Carrickfergus Castle in Ireland. He was knighted by King James I in 1617. He commanded a regiment on the Royalist side in the English Civil War.

    Faithful married Anne MOORE in 1608. Anne was born in 1592 in County Louth, Ireland; died in 1634 in Dublin, Ireland. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
