  Ferg is the son of Rebecca Mears & Thomas Carlaw. Ferg Carlaw was married twice. First: Ada Bailey, daughter of Alf Bailey WL27, Con and 5th line Gara. They had 3 children: 1. Lynn 2. Eva, who married Jim Watson & lived in Glen Lamond off St. Andrew Street, at the eastern edge of Fergus. Eva's children: Carl, Bill, Helen, Mrs. Jim Crane, all musical. 3. William, a banker 1889-1911, aged 22 years. Second wife: Louise Atkinson 1895-1990, b. Drayton, died at Wellington Terrace, in her 95h year. Buried Elora Cemetery. Her family: James, Rebecca Carlaw 1884-1920 unmarried. Ferg & Louisa Atkinson had 4 children. - - -
