      He married Margaret D. Bryan 16 Apr 1860. Margaret was born 1 Feb 1837 in Bladen County, NC.(36) Margaret was the daughter of Nathan Bryan and Margaret Allen 'Peggy Ann'. Margaret died 29 Nov 1867 in Robeson County, NC, at 30 years of age.(37) Her body was interred 1867.
