  Hammond 2 -the connection with Andrew and Alvira Hammond is circumstancial based on the following: -mother Alvira was a Griffith and could conceivably name her first son after her oldest brother Lyman, who also witnessed their marriage -Lyman was born just over 9 months after Andrew & Alvira were married -in 1851 there were 3 Hammond families living in Westminster; Andrew & Alvira lived the closest to BSC, living between Nelson Norton and David Dale families.
